After eight years of working for the Phoenix Union High School District in the English as a Second Language department and in drop-out prevention, Kristopher currently works as a College Access Advisor at Phoenix Public Library’s College Depot. It was working with immigrant students in the ESL program and witnessing first-hand the issues they and their families faced that caused him to get involved with ADAC.
After studying secondary education at South Mountain Community College, he transferred to Arizona State University where he studied abroad in different parts of México and the Caribbean before earning a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. He is currently a graduate student in ASU’s College of Public Service and Community Solutions. In addition to being on the ADAC Board, he is also Coordinator for ADAC’s education program Aspire.
